Motion 103107-1: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by Christian Petersen to accept the minutes of the October 24th meeting as read, all in favor.
Motion 103107-2: Motion made by Jim Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson to accept the appointment of Bettina Schmidt as a member of the Recreation Committee, term to expire June 30th of 2008. All were in favor.
Drought conditions continue. Draw down remains on hold.
Cox Cable to refund (as a one-time credit) customers with HD or HD/DVR boxes who had the service during a specific time frame.
Signed $4,000 grant contract for the local cultural allocation for the Holland Cultural Council.
Select board has agreed to request input from town residents regarding their position on casino gambling. An informal meeting with Todd Smola will be scheduled for an upcoming Thursday to discuss casino gambling issues.
Motion 10317-3: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by Jim Wettlaufer to have police patrol Holland cemetery after dark. Young people are starting to use the cemetery as a place to hang out. All were in favor.
Warrants were signed and delivered to the Treasurer.
Motion 103107-4: Motion made by Jim Wettlaufer, seconded by Christian Petersen to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 P.M., all in favor.
